Since the chrome.rdf file contains a hard directory path to each extension's jar file location, edit the path to reflect the new name that you gave to this 'cloned' Profile.
A. Open the chrome.rdf file in a text editor program.
I use WordPad.
( location of the file = \cloned_Profile_name\chrome\chrome.rdf )
B. Use the "Replace" function (Ctrl+H) in the text editor.
This what the Wordpad "Replace" Dialog Box looks like.
Note that I have filled in the Find what: with wu1ogn3z.09-02
the name of the 'donor' Profile.
And I have filled in the Replace with: with 09-02_1.0PR
the name of the 'cloned' or new Profile.
Click on the Replace All button to replace every instance of
the 'donor' Profile name with the name of the 'cloned' Profile.
Note: If you are going to use this cloned Profile on a different PC, you will also need to edit the \path-to\ to reflect differences that you may have in the drive letter, directory-path, or user name on the other PC!
C. Save as.. the edited chrome.rdf file to the 'cloned' Profile.
You're done with the Cloning a Profile part of the process,
but you need to 'tell Firefox' that you have a new Profile.
